Residents evacuated after 'suspicious device' found and destroyed

RESIDENTS were evacuated as a bomb disposal unit was called in to deal with a "suspicious device" found in a garden.
-
Specialist personnel from the Army's explosive ordnance disposal unit attended the scene near Rhys Road in Blackwood.
Gwent Police also attended at around 11.50am on Sunday, June 1.
