A HOSPITAL nurse has been struck off after sharing images of “very young” children being abused.
-
Daniel Spence, who worked at Bridgend's Princess of Wales Hospital, admitted hoarding a stash of illegal images of children and animals.
Spence, of Tylorstown in Rhondda Cynon Taf, qualified as a nurse in 2017 and went on to reach a band five role, meaning he earned around £37,000 a year, mostly working on an adult surgery ward at the Princess of Wales.
The 39-year-old, who was employed by the Next Step Nursing agency, was arrested at his home in July 2023 after police learned he had been sharing indecent material.
