Man avoids prison after being caught in the act with sex doll

Peter Hudson, 50, of The Waldrons, in South Croydon, was spared jail in favour of a 12-month community order at Croydon Crown Court on Wednesday (April 23) after the judge took pity on him.

Hudson - who answered “uh, guilty” when asked to confirm his name - was spotted enjoying the pleasures of his anthropomorphic plaything at his front door at around 9.45pm on October 11 2024, the court heard.

Prosecutor Judith Benson said a neighbour, who was waiting for a taxi with a friend, witnessed Hudson “naked on his doorstep doing a sex act with what appeared to be a sex doll”. “The neighbour who initially saw Mr Hudson is a woman who took the view Mr Hudson was looking at her while doing the sex act,” added Ms Benson.

Shocked by what she had seen, the woman called a friend down from the block of flats who then saw Hudson continuing his doll-sex through the ground floor window of his flat.
