Goodman eyes Canada cap after Terriers move

CRYSTAL Palace youngster Owen Goodman admits it is his “dream and aspiration” to play for Canada’s national side at senior level after joining League One side Huddersfield Town on loan.
Goodman has joined the Terriers on a season-long loan from Premier League outfit Crystal Palace, becoming Town's seventh addition of the window. The move is the goalkeeper’s third loan spell of his career, having previously had stints with Colchester United and AFC Wimbledon.
The 21-year-old has represented both Canada and England at Under-20s level, as well as being called up for England squads at U18 and U21 level. The goalkeeper has also turned down a call up from Nigeria for their U20s squad.
Discussing his international ambitions, Goodman told HTTV: “When I was five, I moved over to Canada. Me, my mum and my dad moved out there, and I spent about eight years there. I spent a lot of my childhood out there. That's a place which I see as home.
