Thousands enjoy Krazy day of soapbox racing

CREWE was bursting with energy and excitement as almost 15,000 spectators across the day lined Broad Street for the return of the UK's largest touring soapbox derby - Krazy Races.

The event, delivered in partnership with Crewe Town Council, was a celebration of community spirit, local creativity and pure fun - all while raising vital funds for this year's headline charity, Newlife, supporting children with disabilities and terminal illnesses.

Twenty wildly creative soapbox teams representing local businesses, charities and community groups raced head-to-head down Broad Street using nothing but creativity, Kraziness and gravity.

With new features including a smoke tunnel and speed bump challenge (thanks to headline track sponsor AO), the 2025 Crewe Krazy Races was bolder, faster and krazier than ever before.
