Roller shutter doors approved

OBJECTIONS arose when roller shutter doors were proposed by a Crewe bank to prevent the homeless from sleeping there.

The full planning application was made by the National Westminster Bank at 35-37 Market Street.
Planning officers at Cheshire East Council were told it was proposed to install two roller shutter doors to close a recessed entrance area.
Nineteen occupiers were contacted and Crewe Central ward councillor Roger Morris notified.
