'Bach duo play key roles in county win

SANDBACH'S club captain Jimmy Gore earned his ninth county cap and started again for Cheshire in a thrilling 28-45 win over Cumbria.

George Cole once again came off the bench as Cheshire secured a place in the semi-final and will play East Midlands at Bowdon RUFC next Saturday.
Cole started every league game for Sandbach this season and received the 'Senior Player Most Progress of the Season' award. He has formed a solid centre partnership with Gore and with ten tries at club level and two for Cheshire, his progress continues to be outstanding.
Both teams will be vying for a place in the final, which is held at the home of England Rugby, Allianz Stadium Twickenham.
