TOWN'S 'LEISURE BOX' PADEL COURT GETS GO-AHEAD

NUNEATON town centre's first padel court centre has been approved.
Cabinet members rubber-stamped plans for the town's first padel tennis courts.
We reported that it will be located within the 'leisure box' on the Grayson Place development off Abbey Street.
The large grey building was supposed to play home to a new cinema, but the council pulled the plug on the deal earlier this year.
