'One big play' the difference for Moore

HEAD coach Kevin Moore felt his Genting Casino Coventry Blaze side lacked the 'big play' to give them victory against Manchester Storm on Sunday night.
Matthew Gleason and William Boysen scored for the hosts but they were forced to settle for a point after falling in a shootout following a 2-2 draw through regulation and overtime at the Skydome Arena.
"For stretches of the game our compete was really good and we had a lot of scoring chances," said Moore.
"We're looking for results, not just one point or silver lining efforts.
"We lacked the timely, big play that we needed, and that was the difference."
The Blaze made a fast start and took the lead just 90 seconds into the game when Matthew Gleason finished a wrist shot from close range after good work by man of the match Boysen to create the chance.
