Knight to remember during exciting stay at Warwick Castle!

THERE aren't many hotel experiences that allow you to see your children be 'knighted' but that is exactly what is on offer at the new hotel venture at Warwick Castle.
The 1,000-year-old attraction is a must for tourists visiting the area, as well as being popular with school trips and family days out, but in recent years bosses at the venue have been capitalising on the venue's accommodation potential.
Glamping and Knight Lodges have been in place for several years, but last July a new two-storey, 60 room medieval-themed hotel also opened, leading to 52 per cent increase in overall overnight stays compared to 2023.
With so much hype about such a unique and successful hotel on our doorstep, I visited to see what all the fuss was about.
Part of our visit saw my family and I invited to stay in a room large enough for two adults and three children, as well as access to the castle itself the day of our stay. We visited Easter Saturday, one of those kind of days which veers seamlessly from beautiful sunshine to torrential rain.
Since the last time I visited back in 2022, the 20 minute walk from car park to castle entrance is now largely a thing of the past thanks to a free and regular shuttle bus service ferrying visitors back and forth - an addition you can't help but think came off the back of quite a few visitor feedback forms!
