Kare happy with magnificent medal after juggling act

UNDERCOOKED Kare Adenegan hopes her latest World Championship medal can be a lesson to others about the versatility of athletes.
The Coventry wheelchair racer, 24, won silver in the T34 400m in New Delhi as British teammate and long-term rival Hannah Cockroft grabbed a 17th global gold. Adenegan, a seven-time Paralympic and now six-time world medallist, has barely raced this season as she has juggled her career on the track with a teaching qualification at a school.
She returned with a bang in the Indian capital and is encouraging other athletes to pursue their own interests away from their sport of choice.
