Jaguar Land Rover to clear supplier backlog payments of £300m

JAGUAR Land Rover looks set to clear backlog payments to its struggling suppliers of £300million, according to a local automotive expert.

The car giant announced on Thursday that parts of its 'digital estate' are 'now up and running' after the devastating cyber attack that brought the company's operations to a near world wide stand still.

The news meant sections of the huge operation could begin again, particularly in the finance department, meaning some relief for those smaller businesses further down the JLR supply chain whose futures have been threatened by this devastating attack.
