Coventry Telegraph
|April 30, 2025
ASPIRING Coventry musicians are being given the opportunity to perform alongside big-name artists at the hugely anticipated Godiva Festival.
Thousands are expected to descend on the War Memorial Park in July.
Competition Godiva Calling will be returning this year and is showcasing more up-and-coming talent than ever before, Cllr Abdul Salam Khan said. Nine Coventry and Warwickshire-based artists will be selected.
Coventry City Council has teamed up with Music Smart to offer an 'incredible' prize package which includes a professional photoshoot and CD printing. Winners will also be lucky enough to perform on the Main Stage alongside Ocean Colour Scene, Marc Almond, and Clean Bandit.
