CITY STUDENTS PRAISED FOR IMPRESSIVE GCSE RESULTS

GCSE results for students in Coventry this year were 'impressive achievements' despite the disruption to their education due to the Covid pandemic.
Many excelled in their GCSE and vocational qualification, outperforming their nationally benchmarked predictions, Coventry City Council said.
English results were strong this year, with two-thirds of Coventry schools reporting an improvement in the proportion of students achieving passes in grades 9-5.
