Car parks at mini student estate set to be transformed

‘UNDERUTILISED' car parking at a mini Coventry student housing estate is set to be transformed.
Singers Hall student accommodation based off Canterbury Street has 205 parking spaces around the site, which has two roads - Vogue Close and Gazelle Close.
The car parking spaces were originally intended to be used by students and staff but anew planning application claims they are ‘underutilised.’ So plans have been revealed to get rid of just over 80 of them. In the newly opened spaces will be three new ‘zones’ which will boast extra seating, an outdoor kitchen and outdoor sports pitches.
Anew planning application also asks for the go-ahead for a vehicular access gates to Vogue Close and Gazelle Close as well as new air source heat pumps on site.
