Atkins stars as Team MI celebrate

KENILWORTH rider Darren Atkins led the successes for Team MI Racing Townsend Vehicle Hire as the 2025/26 cyclocross season comes to a finale.

More than 20 riders from the Midlands team have spent the last few months pitching themselves against some of the best riders in the country and against some the worst that the weather could throw at them.

Atkins was celebrating after claiming the masters 50-59 age category title in the West Midlands Cyclocross League. Atkins took the victory over the 12-round series by 15 points from the second-placed rider.
