TEENAGER JOINS DASILVA IN SQUAD FOR DOUBLE-HEADER

UNCAPPED Coventry City midfielder Kai Andrews has been recalled to the Wales squad for next month's international doubleheader against Kazakhstan and Canada.

The 19-year-old player, who has started in both Sky Blues’ Carabao Cup games this term, is named alongside Sky Blues’ defender Jay Dasilva in Craig Bellamy’s 25-man squad.

Andrews was left out of the last senior camp, having enjoyed a breakthrough senior year last term in an eyecatching loan spell at Moth-erwell and being handed a debut call-up in March. In the summer, he instead featured for Wales Under-21s.

Dasilva, who has started all three Championship games for City so far, made his Wales debut in 2024 and earned his third cap this June against Liechenstein before being on the bench against Belgium. Luton-born, he qualifies for Wales through his Pontypridd-born grandmother.
