All you need to know ahead of Ed Sheeran playing in Cov

ONE of the biggest pop stars on the planet is set to touch down in Coventry this week.
Ed Sheeran will play the CBS Arena on Friday 5 December as part of his ‘Play’ tour.
The Galway Girl troubadour will perform to thousands of adoring fans in a sold out event held in the venue's exhibition hall. Local act and onetime Sheeran inspiration Nizlopi will be joining him as support.
It won't be the first time the Shape of You star will play Coventry - he previously played an intimate set at the HMV Empire in the summer of 2021.
He also turned up in Coventry at the beginning of these year via council initiative Coventry Music, surprising the city’s aspiring musicians at schools around the city.
