Struggling monkey sanctuary is put up for sale

A MUCH-LOVED monkey sanctuary is set to be put on the market following a “period of financial difficulty”.
Wild Futures, not far from Seaton, near Looe, said the decision is a strategic move to ensure its long-term future.
The charity, which has provided a home for rescued monkeys for more than 60 years, is seeking a sympathetic buyer who will collaborate on a future that allows the charity to continue operating from the site or relocate under sustainable conditions.
It said this step follows a period of financial difficulty during which the organisation has reduced staff numbers and paused public visits.
