|April 30, 2025
ON TUESDAY, April 15, St Peter's Probus held its monthly meeting at the Ivy Bush Royal Hotel, Carmarthen.
-
The chairman welcomed David H on to the club committee as vice-chairman. He also introduced and welcomed new members Bob and Andy and presented Tim, who had joined recently, with his club tie and badge.
The chaiman reminded members of the most excellent evening at the Quins Rugby Club, with and at the invitation of the members of Bro Myrddin Probus Club.
The treasurer reported that the club's account had a healthy balance and all bills had been paid.
Guy said he had been unable to contact the Whitland Abbey custodians to arrange a visit. A visit to Carmarthen Museum has been arranged for May 25. Other possible places to visit are Hywel Dda Garden, Whitland, where there are also good places to have lunch, the Maritime Museum, Swansea, the Pendine Museum of Land Speed and the Gwili Railway.
The results of the monthly fun quiz were acceptable but no members had all the answers correct.
