Festival ready to bring the magic back to town

A WORLD of myths and magic returns to Carmarthen later this month when a festival with a familiar name promises wonder for all the family.
June 21 will see the return of a revamped Merlin Festival, which ran for several years from 2003, followed by a one-off event in 2017.
Carmarthen Chamber of Trade and Commerce, in conjunction with traders across the town, are now ready to welcome people of all ages to the new Merlin's Magical Festival, which will feature medieval re-enactments, swordfighting, circus performers, local singers, mythical dancers, arts workshops, potion-making, magical princesses and much more.
The festival is built around Carmarthen's supposed links with Merlin the magician - and in turn his links with the legend of King Arthur.
