AT just 21 years old, Esther Thakhani Rakhadani from the rural Matavhela village in Mutale has achieved what many only dream of - graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of psychology (honours) degree from the University of Venda (Univen).
Her remarkable milestone was celebrated on May 13 during the university's graduation ceremony, marking the result of discipline, focus and dedication.
Esther, a former learner of Thengwe Secondary School, passed Gr 12 with a bachelor pass in 2020, giving her the ticket to study at any university in South Africa.
Reflecting on her journey, she attributes her success to a mix of clear goals, smart study habits and a great support system.
