Gouveia kidnapping: 10 in court

TEN of the 12 persons accused of being involved in the kidnapping of Louis Trichardt businessman Eddie Gouveia, appeared in the Louis Trichardt Magistrate's Court last Monday.

Of the 12 suspects, five have been granted bail, while the remaining seven have been held in custody for several months.

Gouveia was abducted on October 16, 2023 and the first three arrests were made on November 4.
