State Revenue, Housing and Information and Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said that 20 lakh Indiramma houses will be built and given to the eligible poor across the state in the next 4 years. On Thursday, he inaugurated the model Indiramma house built in the premises of the MPDO office in Nakrekal mandal center of Nalgonda district.
Later, speaking at a meeting organized there, the minister said that Indiramma houses are being built and given to the poor to strengthen them. He said that houses are being allotted in the first phase to those who do not have a house and cannot even build a wall in a completely transparent manner.
He revealed that houses will be given to all the eligible poor in phases in the next four years. In the first phase, 3500 houses were given to each constituency and houses will be given in 3 more phases. He said that 20 lakh houses will be built for all the eligible poor across the state at a cost of Rs 5 lakh. He said that the Bhu Bharati Act brought by the state government to resolve land issues will be a role model for the country.
He said that from June 2, Tahsildar-level officials will come to every mandal and every revenue village and resolve fair land issues. He said that the nine lakh twenty six thousand plain land applications pending in Bhu Bharati will be examined and all the eligible people will be permanently resolved without any difficulty and will be provided with full rights without any difficulty.
He said that the Bhu Bharati Act will be made a model for other states in the country, adding that the Dharani has been useful only to a few people, and steps are being taken to resolve all the problems in Bhu Bharati. He said that Nakrekal mandal has been taken as a pilot mandal in Bhu Bharati.
