Chief Secretary to the Telangana Government K. Rama Krishna Rao emphasized that the Vanamahotsavam programme should be implemented with full public participation.
He reviewed the implementation of key state government initiatives through a video conference with District Collectors on Tuesday.
The review meeting covered major programmes including Indiramma housing, fertilizer availability, oil palm cultivation, seasonal disease control, and Bhoobharthi land application resolutions. Forest and Environment Minister Konda Surekha participated online, and Mahabubnagar Collector Vijayaendra Booi joined from the district headquarters.
Key Highlights of the Review:
Housing Schemes : CS Rao informed that over 2.3 lakh Indiramma houses have been sanctioned and construction has begun for over 1 lakh units. He directed officials to ensure basement-level work is completed before heavy rains begin.
