TGSRTC runs 5,500 special buses for Sankranti festival travel

To manage the heavy passenger movement during the Sankranti festival eve, the TGSRTC has operated nearly 5,500 special buses between January 9 and 13, to ensure smooth and safe travel for people heading to their native villages.

Key transit hubs in Hyderabad, including MGBS, JBS, Uppal, LB Nagar, KPHB and Aramghar, witnessed a steady flow of buses on Tuesday and Wednesday, supported by additional staff and on-ground supervision by senior officers.
