The Railway Protection Force of South Central Railway sincerely thanks and appreciates Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, South Central Railway, on the occasion of his retirement on 30th June 2025.

Jain holds the honour of being the longest-serving General Manager in the history of South Central Railway. He is well known for his forward-thinking leadership, strong administration, and deep commitment to improving railway operations, passenger safety, and security.

During his outstanding service, South Central Railway achieved great progress in improving safety, updating security systems, and developing infrastructure. His strong support helped the RPF improve its ability to provide fast, efficient, and modern security services to both passengers and the railway network.

Major Contributions During His Tenure:

Modernizing RPF Infrastructure: Allocated funds to improve RPF Posts, staff barracks, training centres, and working facilities—leading to better efficiency and staff welfare.

Use of Advanced Technology: Sanctioned Funds for CCTV cameras, drones, and body-worn cameras, improving surveillance, crime prevention, and emergency response.

Stronger Station Security under Amrit Bharat Scheme: Under the guidance of Arun Kumar Jain, major railway stations across SCR were upgraded as part of the Amrit Bharat Station Redevelopment Scheme. This included the installation of state-of-the-art security systems, such as high-definition CCTV surveillance networks, modern control rooms, and command centers to monitor passenger movement and station activities round the clock.

Comprehensive Passenger Security: A well-planned security system was developed by combining trained staff, modern technology, and smart policing methods. This approach helped to keep both passengers and railway property safe at all times.
