Farmers used to face great difficulties in going from Tummalacheruvu in the village to the Gummalabanda-Pajjuru link road. Farmers faced many difficulties in going to the fields through this area due to the trees and potholes on both sides of the road.

Before the last elections, Congress party leaders and farmers brought this matter to the attention of Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy. As promised to the farmers, Minister Komatireddy granted Rs. 10 lakhs from the SDF funds. As soon as the funds were sanctioned, the officials laid a 3-kilometer dirt road from Tummalacheruvu to the Pajjuru link road.
