Permanent solution to land disputes through Bhu Bharati Act : Minister Jupally Krishna Rao

On Wednesday, as part of the awareness conference on the Bhu Bharati Act held at the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society godown in Kodair mandal headquarters and Vasavi Kalyana Mandapam in Kollapur town, Excise, Tourism, and Cultural Affairs Minister Jupally Krishna Rao participated as the chief guest.

Speaking at the event, Minister Jupally Krishna Rao stated that to resolve land issues not addressed by Dharani, the government has implemented the Bhu Bharati ROR Act 2025 on April 14th, coinciding with Ambedkar Jayanti. He emphasized that the Bhu Bharati Act is aimed at offering a permanent solution to land problems and increasing accountability in land ownership, thereby avoiding confusion among farmers.
The minister noted that Dharani failed to resolve many public land issues, which led the government to introduce the Bhu Bharati Act-2025 as a comprehensive solution. He explained that the new law will simplify services such as transactions, registrations, mutations, prohibited land identification, and changes to the ROR (Record of Rights). Unlike the cumbersome Dharani process, the new system is designed to be more user-friendly.
