Telangana Revenue, Housing, Information and Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy has directed district collectors to expedite the process of selecting beneficiaries for the 3,500 houses allotted per constituency under the Indiramma Housing Scheme.
-
He emphasised that at least 500 houses should be allotted in the urban areas of each constituency, and beneficiary approvals should be carried out daily by the in-charge ministers until the selection process is complete.
The Minister, along with Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao, held a video conference with District Collectors and Superintendents of Police on Friday to review arrangements for the Bhu Bharathi land records initiative, Indiramma housing allotments, and the upcoming NEET examination.
Speaking during the meeting, Minister Reddy stressed that the construction of each house must adhere to size specifications - not less than 400 square feet and not more than 600 square feet.
