MINISTER TUMMALA INSPECTS MAN- CHUKONDA LIFT IRRIGATION SCHEME

Minister for Agriculture, Marketing, Cooperation, Handlooms and Textiles, Tummala Nageswara Rao visited the Gravity-5 Canal near Gaddikunta Tanda and Regula Kunta tank near Bavoji Tanda in Raghunatha palem Mandal on Sun day, to review the progress of the Manchu konda Lift Irrigation Scheme.

During the inspection, the Minister stated that a trial run under the Manchukonda lift scheme has begun, enabling water release into nearby tanks. He informed that surplus water from the Regula Kunta tank is flowing into Nallakunta and Mallepalli tanks. He instructed officials to ensure that water reaches Mastani kunta
