Minister Reviews Progress of Indiramma Housing, Bhū Bhārati and LRS Schemes

Revenue, Information and Housing Minister V. Pongi Lati Srinivas Reddy today chaired a comprehensive video-conference review from the Secretariat with key secretaries, project directors, district collectors and other senior officials to assess the implementation of three flagship programmes: the Indiramma Housing Scheme, the Bhū Bharati land-rights pilot and the Layout Regularization Scheme (LRS).

Transparent Beneficiary Selection3,500 homes per constituency:

First-phase allotments are to be made strictly on the basis of population data and application merit.

Field verification by April 30: Indiramma committees in villages and wards must reconfirm each batch of 200 shortlisted applicants in the field, removing any ineligible names.Construction Oversight & Disbursement

Dedicated monitoring officers: Each constituency will have a special officer to track construction milestones.

₹100,000 released: In pilot villages, beneficiaries completing the basement level have already received the first instalment.

Model homes: Demonstration houses will be constructed in every mandal to guide other beneficiaries.
