Mid-Day Meal Workers Stage Protest in Mulugu Demanding Release of Pending Bills and Wages

Responding to a call by the Telangana Mid-Day Meal Workers' Union State Committee, a protest was held today in front of the District Collector's office in Mulugu.

The demonstrators, comprising mid-day meal workers from across the district, submitted a memorandum to the Collector demanding the immediate release of pending bills and wages. Speaking at the event, Union State General Secretary Mr. Jampala Ravinder highlighted that with only two days left for the reopening of schools, key dues from the previous academic year—including cooking charges, honorariums, and egg bills—are still pending. “Authorities must consider how meals can be prepared without clearing these crucial dues," he said.
