Demand for Balaji Railway Division
The delegation urged the Union Minister to take immediate steps towards establishing the long-pending Balaji Railway Division with Tirupati as its headquarters. Highlighting Tirupati's status as one of the busiest pilgrimage destinations in the country, the MPs explained that the current railway lines in the region fall under multiple divisions. This fragmentation has led to administrative challenges and delays in project approvals, impacting the quality of services.
