Land issues resolved within a specified time frame with Bhu Bharathi

Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu said that the state government has introduced the new Bhu Bharati Act to resolve the land issues of farmers within a specified time frame.

On Sunday, farmers under the jurisdiction of Nizamabad North and South mandals were made aware of the Bhu Bharati Act at a conference organized at the village Chavidi in Arsapalli.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that the state government has brought the Bhu Bharati Act by incorporating comprehensive aspects to resolve the problems faced by farmers due to the Dharani Act. He pointed out that through this new ROR Act, farmers have been given the opportunity to amend land records as per subsections 4 and 5 of Section 4. He said that the government has given powers through the Bhubharati Act to conduct inspections at the Tahsildar, RDO and Collector levels to check changes in land area and record areas not recorded in records.
