BRS Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) launched a scathing attack on the Congress government, accusing it of failing to fulfil even a single promise made during the past 22 months of its rule.

Questioning the government's credibility, KTR asked why the Congress was seeking votes again when it had “betrayed every section of society.”

In a media statement here on Tuesdy, he recalled that during the last Assembly elections, the Congress failed to win even one seat in Hyderabad, while the BRS swept the region. “If you compare now with the past, the people—especially those in Hyderabad—have understood the deception and incompetence of the Congress government,” he said.

KTR alleged that in 22 months, the government neither built new roads nor maintained existing ones. “The people are angry, and this anger is shared by all sections — from the unemployed youth to women and daily wage workers,” he said.
