Green-Line Mobility Solutions Ltd, an Essar Group venture and India's only green logistics operator using LNG and electric-powered heavy commercial trucks, on Thursday flagged off a fleet of LNG trucks for Bekaert, a global leader in tyre reinforcement technologies, at the latter's Ranjan-

gaon Plant near Pune. The deployment marks the beginning of a pilot initiative aimed at decarbonising Bekaert’s logistics operations and aligns with the government's vision of promoting a gas-based economy.

Each GreenLine LNG truck is expected to cut up to 24 tonnes of COz emissions annually, significantly contributing to Bekaert's goal of becoming carbon net-zero by 2050 and deriving 65 per cent of its sales from sustainable solutions.
