Speaking on the occasion, Revanth Reddy described Rajiv Gandhi as a true inspiration to the youth of the country who sacrificed his life for national integrity. He recalled Rajiv Gandhi's initiatives in granting voting rights to 18-year-olds, introducing women's reservation in local bodies, and ushering in a technology revolution by bringing computers and reforms in the telecom sector.
