Held on April 5, 2025, the event brought together over 70 leading surgeons, trainees, and medical experts for an immersive, hands-on learning experience.
One of the key highlights of the event was the live surgical demonstrations, streamed directly from the operating theatre to the audience. This real-time approach enabled participants to observe complex hernia procedures as they unfolded, offering a rare window into advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive techniques.
The masterclass was led by Dr. Dinakar Reddy A, Head of the Department of Surgical Gastroenterology at Arete Hospitals, along with a panel of distinguished surgeons. The sessions covered a wide spectrum of hernia repair methods, including inguinal and ventral hernias, laparoscopic TEP/TAPP, and endosuturing techniques.
