THE Cape Town International Jazz Festival (CTIJF) is gearing up for its landmark event, welcoming jazz lovers from across the globe to what is known as Africa’s Grandest Gathering.
Scheduled for April 25 and 26 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), this year’s festival embraces the evocative theme Legacy Meets Tomorrow, honouring the rich heritage of jazz while also looking forward to its evolving future.
This year, festival-goers will be treated to an invigorating atmosphere across four stages: Kippies, Manenberg, Rosies and Moses Molelekwa, featuring a remarkable line-up of 33 local and international artists.
Among them, the Rosies stage stands out for its intimate setting and deeper dive into acoustic jazz, catering specifically to serious jazz aficionados.
