DIE een wat bly (The one who stays) In this stage production, memory and mourning intertwine as an artist retraces the Fe otprnts of his childhood after his mother’s death.
Each movement and spoken line becomes a thread, weaving together past and present, loss and love, identity and family.
The performance brings to life the quiet intensity of the bond between a mother and her son. This dynamic is sometimes tender, sometimes fraught but it is always transformative. As he navigates grief, he discovers not just the shadows of his upbringing, but also the spaces where healing and understanding can grow.
