Next phase of project to replace gas pipes hit by 'engineering challenges'

A THIRD phase of works along two major Cambridge roads has been delayed due to “engineering challenges”.

Parts of Hills Road and Station Road in Cambridge have been closed as part of an 11-month project by Cadent Gas to replace gas pipes.

While phase two, which began on August 11, has “progressed well”, phase three, which was due to begin on Monday (October 6), has been delayed.
