HARRIS BEMOANS DROPPED POINTS DESPITE KEEPING UNBEATEN RUN
CAMBRIDGE United boss Neil Harris expressed his “disappointment” at only taking two points from the past week after again feeling his side were the better team in their 1-1 draw at MK Dons on Saturday.
The U’s came back from a goal down to take a point from their League Two clash at Stadium MK, with Sullay Kaikai netting a second-half equaliser after Callum Paterson had put the hosts in front shortly before halftime.
United have recorded consecutive 1-1 draws against sides that currently occupy playoff spots in League Two, but after conceding in injury-time against Chesterfield in midweek, Harris believes the U's should have been left with more reward from their efforts over the past two games.
“Well the positive is we're ten games unbeaten aren’t we, and we've had two of the so-called biggest or best-budgeted clubs in a row in four days, and we've been better than both. The disappointment is that we've only got two points from the last four days, and come off thinking ‘how have we only got two points?;” the head coach told his club.
