Harvard threatened by Trump with $9 billion of funds at risk

President Donald Trump's administration expanded its campaign against elite universities, threatening to scrutinise billions of dollars of federal funding for Harvard University, weeks after freezing money meant for Columbia University.

The review, part of efforts to combat antisemitism on college campuses, includes $8.7 billion in grants and $255.6 million in contracts, according to a statement from agencies including the Department of Education and the Department of Health and Human Services.
