Fischer aims to treble India catch in 5-7 years

Germany-based Fischer group, which makes components for the construction and automobile sector, expects to treble the size of its India business to over 600 crore in 5-7 years.
The company, which has a portfolio of over 15,000 articles, including anchors for earthquake zones or severely stressed buildings, fire protection fixings, and façade systems, is also in the process of establishing an IT hub in Bengaluru.
In the last three years, its India business had clocked a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of nearly 41 per cent, nearly trebling its business size to over 200 crore.
"We see a very strong growth of about 20 per cent year-on-year (Yo-Y) in the next 5-7 years," said Mayank Kalra, managing director, Fischer India.
