Geely 2025 profit beats estimates

Net income rose to 16.85 billion yuan ($2.4 billion) in 2025, compared with 16.81 billion yuan the previous year, the Hong Kong-listed arm of billionaire Li Shufu’s auto empire said in a statement Wednesday. That topped the 16.5-billion-yuan average of 31 analyst estimates compiled by Bloomberg. Revenue climbed 25 percent to 345.2 billion yuan.

Geely gained market share on BYD in China last year, and has even outsold the world’s biggest electric vehicle maker in 2026. The company is aiming for sales to increase 14 percent this year as it pursues its goal to become one of the world’s top five carmakers by the end of the decade.
