Fraulo cannot wait to launch his Derby County career and says he sees himself “fitting into the club's project” after becoming the Rams’ second signing of the January transfer window. The midfielder's arrival from Borussia Monchengladbach was confirmed by the Rams yesterday morning, with the Danish midfielder putting pen to paper on a contract until the summer of 2029.

Derby have paid an undisclosed fee for the 22-year-old, who has Champions League, Bundesliga and Eredivisie experience and in the summer of 2024 attracted interest from the Premier League.

“I've known about Derby's interest in me for some time, but I had some good talks with the club in the last month,” Fraulo told the Rams' website.

“I'm already 100 per cent sure that I want to play here and I can see myself fitting into the club's project. I'm really happy to be here.

“It's a club with ambitions and I also have big ambitions.
