INTERNATIONAL GROUP ALSO LOOKS AROUND LOCAL FIRMS

- By JOSEPH RICHARDS

BURTON and South Derbyshire College (BSDC) hosted students from Belgium as part of an international study tour.

The students from HOGENT University, in Ghent, visited a range of innovative businesses and initiatives, including The National Brewery Heritage Trust, Denby Pottery Village, Derby Down to Earth, and Farm Fresh Revolution, each showcasing unique approaches to aligning business strategy with local identity and need.

Made possible through funding from the Mercer Foundation, the visit centred around the concept of placemaking, with a particular focus on how businesses adapt and thrive within their local environments.

FOR most bikers, the sound is a visceral part of the riding pleasure, whether it's the heartbeat of a single, the syncopated throb of a V-twin, the sweet whine of a triple, or the unmitigated howl of an inline four at full chat.
