RANGERS ARE LATEST CLUB TO BE LINKED TO TIGERS DEFENDER DRAMEH

- By LEIGH CURTIS

THE race to sign Hull City defender Cody Drameh has intensified with Derby County among nine clubs chasing the former Leeds United full-back.

Scottish club Rangers are the latest team to have been linked with the right-back with Hull Live reporting that the Rams submitted a fresh offer for Drameh over the weekend.

It is claimed that Hull will only consider parting company with the defender for a seven-figure sum as Drameh looks increasingly likely to leave the MKM Stadium this summer.

Former Rams interim boss Liam Rosenior is still a big fan and may want to take him to France where he is currently manager of Ligue One side Strasbourg, it is reported.

Current Rams head coach John Eustace has worked with the player before at Birmingham City and is said to be keen on being reunited with Drameh, who struggled for game time under Hull's former manager Ruben Selles.

Hull Live report: "Drameh was a signing teed up by Liam Rosenior early last year before he eventually joined from Leeds in July.

"Tim Walter used him at left-back and Ruben Selles used him barely at all, so rarely got to perform in a natural position.
