'Outstanding' Rams out of bottom three with only a game to go

Nat Phillips secured a huge three points with six minutes remaining when he powered in a superb header from Craig Forsyth's inch-perfect free-kick.

It sent more than 2,500 Rams fans into dreamland at the MKM Stadium and they remain out of the bottom three going into the final day against Stoke City.

Derby are a point clear of Hull, who dropped into the relegation zone as a result of their defeat and the Tigers were subjected to a chorus of boos at full-time.

"I am very proud of the effort of the group,” said Rams head coach Eustace.

"I thought the boys were outstanding which they have been since I've come to the club.

"I am really pleased with the three points. Out of possession work was very good and we controlled the game without the ball very well.
